During the day, student’s workshopped songs they had learnt this year in choir with a well-known choral conductor, adjudicator and singer, Justine Favell. The day concluded with a concert for parents and families where students performed as part of a massed choir of 320 voices. Highlights included the spectacle of “Ribbons in the Sky” with colour-choreographed streamers, the vibrant “Sisi Sote” accompanied by African drums, the energetic “Jetman” and the lively “Route 66” with some funky moves and grooves. The choir also got to wear their brand new music vests and received many compliments on their eye catching and stylish appearance! Well done to the choir for all their hard work this term in preparation for this performance.
